Nick Sirianni's 2024 report card grade puts Eagles rumors to rest once and for all

NFL rumors about trouble brewing in the Philadelphia Eagles locker room during the 2023 NFL regular season that caused the Birds to go from a 10-1 start to the year to an 11-6 finish have been spreading non-stop since the collapse. 

A.J. Brown attempted to shut down those rumors last week, but not everyone has bought into it. 

However, the Eagles' and Nick Sirianni's overall report card grade from last football season could be what's needed to put these rumors to rest once and for all. 

Eagles players and NFL players across the league handed Sirianni an "A" for his coaching in 2023-24, despite a historic late-season collapse. 

Players were also high on Eagles team owner Jeffrey Lurie.

According to the official overview, the Eagles finished 4th overall as a team and 15th for most of the sub-categories. From looking at the grades, there is a need for improvement in team travel and treatment of the players' families: 

The Philadelphia Eagles finish the year ranked 4th overall in the team survey report. Survey respondents consistently grade the staff highly. The strength coaches, training staff and head coach Nick Sirianni all receive extremely high grades from the players.

The players also have a lot of faith in club owner Jeffrey Lurie’s willingness to continually upgrade the facilities. Last year, the survey highlighted that the Eagles had some of the smallest hot/cold tubs in the league and this offseason, the team upgraded their tub room, which the players appreciated.

The players mention two priority areas that they would like to see upgraded as soon as possible. First is the team’s travel setup. Players feel crammed in the back of the plane while the staff sits in first class. The second issue players mention is the need for a renovated locker room, which feels outdated.

Sirianni receiving an A is a bit surprising considering the Eagles blew a huge lead and lost five of their final six regular-season matchups, but it does clear up the rumor that he completely lost the locker room.
